Technology is a beautiful thing. It allows people to seamlessly engage in business interactions from thousands of miles away. It helps strangers grow real, meaningful relationships. It bolsters professionalism and deepens client/company relations.
However, we find it can leave you feeling like something’s missing.
While e-meetings are a useful tool, we’ve found that nothing strengthens knowledge and understanding like good ole’ face to face collaboration. It’s for this reason we’ve combined our two most successful events to date – our Compass Roundtable meeting and our Compass Advanced Coaching – into one spectacular two-day event.
This meeting has become so successful that we will be adding some exciting new offerings in 2020 and we’ll be sure to keep you updated!
In the meantime, here’s a quick look at what you can expect if you attend.
Top 10 Reasons to Attend
- Interact with Peers
- Learn in-depth model functionality
- Meet our Plansmith staff
- Hear about new features
- Discuss relevant industry topics
- Enjoy building new connections
- Share model tricks and shortcuts
- Ask the tough questions
- Network with others who do what you do
- It’s an honestly great time
What you can Expect
Day 1: Compass Roundtable
Attend the Compass Roundtable to discuss relevant topics in your industry, exchange and gain new perspectives, and learn how others handle the same challenges within their organizations. Subject matter is user driven, discussed by the group, and augmented by Plansmith facilitators.
Day 2: Compass Advanced Coaching
During Compass Advanced Coaching, we’ll dive into the model to explore topics such as effective forecasting, reporting, assumptions development, and stress testing. Unlike traditional how-to training, the session discusses the power a model can provide to save time and improve your planning experience. Here also, the subject matter is user driven, discussed by the group, and augmented by Plansmith facilitators.
All events are currently held at our corporate headquarters in Schaumburg, IL, just 20 minutes from the Chicago O’Hare Airport.
