Times are strange. We haven’t been in our Plansmith offices together since March 16th. That’s over a hundred and sixty days – it feels crazy. But like with anything else, we adjust and move forward to reach our goals, but the plans for getting there have definitely changed.
We still want to get together with everyone. We still want to talk about what works, what doesn’t, and how things are going. Even though we can’t meet face to face at our Schaumburg offices this year, we can still come together virtually!
A big shout out everyone who was able to make it to our first ever Virtual Compass Roundtable! We had two-hours of great interaction, as close to in person as possible: face to face over webcam. We all got something out of our time spent together. We covered a range of questions, including:
- What type of lean measures has your bank adopted without sacrificing service and growth initiatives?
- Who can share information on their IRR policy limits and challenges they experience if they exceed them?
- Any takeaways or hot topic areas from your last exam, like IRR, stress testing, etc.?
Questions like this, and many others, help shape how we share knowledge about banking best practices and making our daily lives better.
If you’ve never been to one of our events, let me tell you the best part - it’s all run by YOU! All of our events are specially curated around what each attendee wants to get out of each session. Simply bring me the questions you face in your everyday banking life, and I’ll address them to the group. That way everyone gets feedback of all kinds and learns from one another.
